Kress Terrace is easily accessible from the Greene Street Parking Deck via a pedestrian bridge directly connecting to our fourth-floor entrance. This convenient entrance is also handicap accessible.
Greene Street Parking Deck is located at the corner of Greene and Washington Street, across from the Melvin Municipal Building and the Guilford County Courthouse.
Parking Deck is free on weekends and after 7pm during the week. During other hours, the parking deck is free for the 1st hour and $0.50 per hour after that.
Directions to Kress Terrace
From I-40 East or West:
Take Freeman Mill Road/Coliseum Area Exit. Follow into downtown. Take right onto Washington Street. Just after you cross Greene Street, take immediate left into parking deck alley entrance. Parking Deck is one way up and one way down. Follow signs to S.H. Kress Building to top of garage and back down to Level F. Kress Terrace sign indicates pedestrian bridge entrance.
Entering Deck from Greene Street:
Enter Greene Street Parking Deck just before Washington Street. Parking Deck is one way up and one way down. Follow signs to S.H. Kress Building to top of garage and back down to Level F. Kress Terrace sign indicates pedestrian bridge entrance.
Entering Deck from Washington Street:
Enter Parking Deck between South Elm and Greene Streets via alley beside Liberty Oak Restaurant. Parking Deck is one way up and one way down. Follow signs to S.H. Kress Building to top of garage and back down to Level F. Kress Terrace sign indicates pedestrian bridge entrance.
There will no longer be access from Elm St Main Entrance.
